Built only from accepted offers (completed or later canceled), dated by when they were accepted, completed or canceled, so years compare like with like.

Methodology
- Source: instant offers generated through our network of junk-car sites, Mar 2022–Oct 2026 (41,384 offers).
- Exclusions: $0 offers are removed. Groups with fewer than 5 offers are hidden; headline figures need at least 20, and make, model and state rankings at least 50.
- Medians and middle-half ranges (25th–75th percentile) are computed from every qualifying offer in a group and rounded to the nearest $25.
- The year-by-year section uses only accepted offers from the completed and canceled offer history, so each year reflects the same kind of offer.
- Body types come from model names; models we could not classify are left out of that comparison.
- Figures are rebuilt from the database nightly. No individual offers or seller details are published. Offers are not guaranteed prices.
